Two autograph manuscript lists in an unknown hand of Christian literature sent to the capital of Jamaica. The two lists are entitled: "A Catalogue of Books sent to Spanish Town in Jamaica by Mr. Cunningham the 28th Apil [sic] 1701," and "A Catalogue of Books sent with Mr. Cunningham the 28th of April 1701 to ffound [sic] a Library in Spanish Town Jamaica." Each item contains a note of receipt signed by James Cunningham and dated April 30th. Attributed to Thomas Bray (1656-1730), an Anglican clergyman who, as part of promoting the Church of England, established libraries throughout the British colonies in North America. The identity of James Cunningham is unknown.
