Annotated copies of Guizot's De la démocratie en France and Margry's response : Paris, 1849.

Annotated copy of M. (François) Guizot's De la Démocratie en France (Paris: Victor Masson, Libraire, 1849) bound with an annotated copy of Margry's published response (Paris: Jules Laisné, Libraire-Editeur, 1849). Annotations in both works appear to be in Margry's hand. Also bound in are three ALS without salutations by Pierre Jean de Béranger, Alexis de Tocqueville, and P. Prinz(?). The letters appear to have been written to Margry, and to contain comments on the publications with which they are bound.
