S. Brig Dolphin, Lieut. Commd. A. Sleddell," 1837 Dec 16-1838 Aug 29, from Rio de Janeiro to Bahia, Pernambuco, Montevideo, and Buenos Aires; and "Journal of a cruise in the U. S. Frigate Potomac, Laurence Kearney, Esqr, Commander," 1840 Apr 13-Sep 21, from Gosport Navy Yard to Norfolk and Rio de Janeiro.
