This set of volumes consists of manuscript drafts (often in the hand of the interviewee), typescript proofs, and printed proofs of interviews Lefev̀re conducted with many contemporary French writers. Included are texts, heavily revised by the author and many including the interviewee's own manuscript contributions, of discussions with: André Gide, Jean Giraudoux, Valéry Larbaud, François Mauriac, Charles Maurras, Paul Morand, Pierre Mac Orlan, and André Suarès.
