Eight documents, including six letters, relating to the Ejército del Norte and its military defenses against Texas. Includes two letters from José Antonio Fernandez to the Ayuntamiento of Camargo, dated October 25 and November 15, 1835, urging strong defensive measures against the revolting colonists; three letters by Isidro Reyes, dated November 1840, concerning the movements of Colonel Jordan and his followers who escaped after the battle of Saltillo; and a proclamation by General Adrian Woll, dated June 20, 1844, prohibiting all communication with Texas.
