The Tom D. Barna collection consists of an audiocassette and transcript of an oral history interview between Barna and Grace Mlady in November 2003. Barna served in the United States Marine Corps during the Gulf War and as a reservist he served in Operation Enduring Freedom. He talks about his time in the service in Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Hawaii. He also talks about the differences between military life and civilian life.
