Letter : to Sr. Gral. Manuel Armíjo / by Antonio López de Santa Anna, 1847 Jan 22.

Manuel Armíjo having fled Santa Fé upon the approach of the United States Army under the command of Stephen Kearny, was commanded to return to Mexico and appear before a Board of Inquiry which would examine and review his case. Santa Anna assures him that the outcome of this meeting will be in his favor and will not jeopardize his good reputation.
