Visitador reports, 1755-1756.

The 1755 report (WA MSS S-960 Z61) describes the visits of Francisco Zevallos and others to the Jesuit missions along the Magdalena and Mayo Rivers in Sonora, the Fuerte River in Sinaloa, and the Loreto mission, California. The report mentions missionaries names, the length and location of service, number of families at the missions, the produce and stock raised, and the decoration of the missions. The 1756 report (WA MSS S-961 Z61)supplements the earlier one recording Zevallos's trip through Sonora and Pimería Alta.
