Hezekiah Lord Hosmer papers, 1865.

The collection consists of a notebook with "Distances on the Missouri" from St. Louis to Fort Benton and an address to the citizens of Montana, ten letters to Judge Hosmer and a document about the establishment of courts in Montana Territory, and part of a manuscript by John Allen Hosmer describing Hezekiah Hosmer's journey east in 1865 with his son.
