Sash or bandolier is made of silk and velvet. It is rectangular with angled ends. The sash has tan-colored silk with black velvet borders. An attached ornament is silver-colored metal. The nine-pointed ornament has a red enameled cross in the center. In a circle around the cross is the Knights Templar motto "IN HOC SIGNO VINCES," or "with this as your standard you shall have victory." The reverse is green silk. There is a red silk cross and a metal snap. "WARREN G. HARDING" is printed in silver. This sash dates from around 1920.
