Hat was made by Hickson Inc. of New York. It is made of braided horsehair. The hat is trimmed with two gray ostrich plumes and two lavender plumes. It has a cream silk hat band. It has a label on the hat band that reads, "Hickson Inc. / NEW YORK - BOSTON / MRS WG HARDING." It dates from 1915-1923.
