The collection is chronologically organized into 6 folders (1981, 1983-1986 and a miscellaneous folder). The 1981 documents center on the organization's 1981 event, Women's Equality Day. The 1983 folder includes meeting agendas and minutes, covering the Take Back the Night march, female involvement in local government, and creating a Women's Platform for the 1984 elections. The 1984 meeting minutes and correspondence focus on the Women's Platform project and a voter education campaign. The 1985 minutes address the group's push to have more women included in local politics. The Women's Fair was the group's predominant project in 1986. There is a miscellaneous folder that contains the 1982 Directory of Organizations and Civic Groups of Women, created by ACtion Together, and the 1983 Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce Civic Groups and Organizations Directory. Other than the directory, there are no ACT documents from 1982. There is also a scrapbook that focuses on the 1981 event, Women's Equality Day. This includes general information about ACT, copies of correspondence relating to Women's Equality Day, news articles about the event, plans for the rally, proclamations from Chatham County and the City of Savannah, and photographs of the event.
