Frederic E. Church letter, 1851 June 13, to Charles C. Terry.

Church, writing from Hartford, Connecticut, expressed his appreciation of Terry's efforts to help a brother artist. He also described some of his art work and mentioned that last winter he had to "throw aside some very important work in order to do my share for the Ranney Fund". Church was a well-known landscape artist born in Hartford.
