[Letter] 1922 May 20, Kennebunkport, Maine [to] Caroline Munro, Santa Monica, Calif.

Campbell discusses a planned psychical research meeting at which she is to introduce Dr. William McDougall, the noted British psychologist. "I, if you please, have been bullied, and nagged, and driven, into saying the I would introduce Dr. McDougall!!!! This is about as appropriate as for an ant to introduce Fabre!" Campbell also comments on her disappointment with the binding of the advance copies of her latest novel, The Vehement Flame (1922), and mentions some negative reviews.
