Autograph letter signed from Henry Wellesley, New Inn Hall, Oxford, to C.M. Ingleby [manuscript], 1860 March 6.

States that he has inspected the Duke of Devonshire's Folio Shakespeare at Mr. Curry's and is of the opinion that it is the same he saw in Mr Rodd's shop. Indicates his "reluct to enter any discussion in a matter which has ceased to be a literary controversy, and has become a controversy respecting personal character," a reference to John Payne Collier.
