Ruby Kendrick (1883-1908) travelled to Korea on August 29, 1907 as a missionary from the North Texas Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. When she died on June 20, 1908, the Ruby Kendrick Council of Missions was established in her memory. The Ruby Kendrick Council of Missions records consist of pamphlets, programs, correspondence, minutes, photographs, newspaper and magazine articles, record books, frames, and a scrapbook. The collection documents the life of Ruby Kendrick as well as the work the North Texas Conference Epworth League performed in her name.
