Thomas Clifford of Ugbrooke in the parish of Chudleigh, Devon, John Davye of Cannonting (i.e. Canonteign), Devon, and Thomas Chudleigh of Bradwick in the county of Exon (i.e. Exeter in Devon) to Thomas Bere of Huntsham, Devon. Concerning debt of £600. Condition to pay £318 on June 11 of the following year. Includes receipts signed by Thomas Bere: on leaf 1v, dated August the 17th, 1668 for £100 as partial payment of this bond; on leaf 1r, a statement dated August the 6th, 1669 for £157 "which is in full of this bond and all interest due for the same."
