Single sheet photocopy program flyer for a Kronos Quartet musical performance of a commisioned composition by Lee Hyla titled "Howl", inspired by the Allen Ginsberg poem of the same name. On the verso side is a typescript reproduction of "About 'Howl' by Allen Ginsberg", containing his account of writing the poem. The letter side is signed and dated on the performance date by Allen Ginsberg (1/14/94).

Irwin Allen Ginsberg was born on June 3, 1926 in Newark, New Jersey to Louis and Naomi (Levy) Ginsberg. American poet, author, lecturer, and teacher who was one of the core members of the Beat Generation of American author's in the 1950's and early 1960's along with Jack Kerouac, William S.
