Litchfield County Agricultural Society records, 1897-1914.

The Litchfield County Agricultural Society was founded in 1818 and was in existence until 1914. The original records of the society burned. This collection primarily contains the records kept by Dwight Kilbourn, the last treasurer for the society. It includes a cash book, membership cards, correspondence sent to Kilbourn, and a volume containing a copy of the original charter and documents pertaining to the society's dissolution.
