According to "The Seamans family in America," Isaac Seamans owned "the 2nd black-smith shop in Virgil." His son Isaac Marsden Seamans inherited this shop; his other son, Julian Conable Seaman, purchased a different blacksmith shop in 1875 and ran it until his death in 1908.
