The collection also contains aritst information for Bill Irwin's "The wonderfully wacky week of whatnot and whimsy," 1994; Bobby McFerrin, 2001; Bread and Puppet Theater, 1990; sculptor Ellen Driscoll, 1995; the Kronos Quartet, 1995; Isaac Stern, 1988, Italo Scanga, 1996; the 1999 jazz fest; hypnotist Tom DeLuca, 2002; and Tim Rollins, 2002. There is also material concerning short courses offered by the University Union and the Women's Leadership Development Program. Miscellaneous items include a hand flag for the 1998 UNC/UVA football game; and condolence cards for the 2007 Virignia Tech tragedy.

West German immigrant Peter Schumann (1934-) founded the Bread and Puppet Theater in New York in 1961. Influenced by the peace movement in New York, Schumann wrote radical anti-war plays for his puppet theater. He incorporated religion and morality into the central anti-war theme of the plays.
