Case, Cigarette [realia]. 1921

Platinum and fourteen-karat-gold cigarette case features a design of vertical stripes and bears a small engraved monogram, "W.G.H.," for Warren G. Harding. Inside there is an engraved double eagle, the insignia of the 32-degree Scottish Masons, and "COLUMBUS, OHIO / JANUARY 5, 1921 / WARREN G. HARDING." The case contains eleven Fatima cigarettes, which are held in place by a decorative metal arm.
