Fourteen-karat-gold lapel pin bears the logo of the Pioneers of Alaska, which consists of two crossed snowshoes over a scene of the Northern Lights with one large star at the top. The letters "P of A" are inlaid with colored enamel. The pin, which has a threaded post on the back, dates from 1923.
