Fob [realia]. 1923

Handmade gold watch fob includes a black silk ribbon and a gold chain. The fob was made by a jeweler in Nenana, Alaska, in 1923. A gold bar pin at the top of the fob is engraved: "NENANA-IGLOO NO. 17." A gold clip with gold nuggets is attached to the pin. A square plate on the ribbon features a diamond set in a star. Cut text reads: "P.A. / W.G.H." The edge of the plate is decorated with small gold nuggets. A small round charm is suspended from the plate and features crossed snowshoes and the Northern Lights. Below the snowshoes is "P. of A."
