Comprises of a number of notes written on scraps of paper, usually newsprint, by George Edwards while imprisoned at Pentridge Prison. Most were written early in his sentence, and condemn what he considered his unjust conviction. He also wrote some poetry, and a script for a short play. The notes contain multiple mentions of Melbourne detective John Christie, who was involved in his arrest. Also includes notes by unidentified persons, some from the twentieth century.
