The collection contains some legal papers belonging to Dr. Andrew Lewis for the years 1852 to 1882. The papers appear to be concerned with an on-going land dispute with some citizens in Princeton, Indiana and the Evansville & Illinois Railroad Company. The legal papers include an 1856 hand-drawn map of the town of Princeton. There are also some personal items of Dr. Lewis which includes invitations to balls and school reward cards.
