Fort Egbert Historic Preservation Project Photographs, 1975.

The Fort Egbert Historic Preservation Project Photographs were taken during July 11-12, 1975. The Historic Preservation Project was undertaken in Fort Egbert by the Bureau of Land Management from 1974-1979. This is a collection of photographs of Fort Egbert's buildings in archaeological blocks. These pictures consist of log cabin and frame house residences, including the residences of Judge Wickersham, George Beck, Abe Malm and John Powers. Other buildings in this photograph collection include a U.S. Customhouse, former Ott and Scheele Store (also former NC Company Store), Episcopal Church and Rectory, Eagle City Hall, the old schoolhouse, animal houses and pens, storage buildings and garages, and the Eagle Public School. An index of the photographs, by archaeological block, is included in this collection.
