Manuscript copy in William Winter's hand of 12 lines of verse from Churchill's poem. William Winter's note at top of leaf: "Motto set in italic." Contains brief annotation in Jefferson Winter's hand: "W.W.'s script. Epigraph "S. on St." " First line of this copy: In the first seat, in robes of various dyes. First line of published poem: Unknowing and unknown, the hardy muse.
