This collection, contained in eight 6 x 15.5 x10-inch boxes, nine 5 x 15.5 x10-inch boxes and thirteen 2.5 x 15 x10-inch boxes, is made up of files on people who are of interest to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. The files, which continue to grow, contain clippings from newspapers and other publications, handwritten notes, obituaries, and any other available information on the subjects. Much of the material is available to the researcher, with the permission of the Archivist, although there may be some exclusions due to sensitive information included in some files.

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science has 104 dioramas depicting the context of many of the Museum's collections of specimens and artifacts. From around 1910, the first diorama-type displays at DMNS consisted of flat oil paintings placed behind specimens.
