Facsimiles of a wager between Mr. Bedford and Mr. Williams. after 1741.

Mr. Bedford wages two gallons of claret with Mr. Williams that David Garrick did not play upon the stage in or before 1732. Signed by David Garrick: "Paid. I acted upon Goodman's Theatre for ye first time in ye year 1741." Witnessed by Somerset Draper. (218) is labelled: "Engraved from the original in the possession of Mr. T. Gosden"; manuscript note: "To Mr. W. Upcott with Gosden's best."
