Autograph letter signed from William Jefferson Winter to Viola R. Winter Brown [manuscript], 1918 April 26.

Winter is terribly distressed by the recipient's illness and asks her set down anything and everything she remembers their father saying, on any subject. The second leaf contains two stanzas, in Jefferson Winter's hand, written by William Winter during an Arts Club dinner to him. First line: When youthful hopes Elysian. Letter is addressed to Vola and signed from Billy.
