Autograph letter signed from T.P. Wadley, Naunton Rectory, Pershore, to William Winter [manuscript], 1891 July 27.

Praises Winter's Gray days and gold and writes that he is happy that Winter did not "endorse Halliwell-Phillipps's absurd notion that Richard Hathaway's seal was used when the marriage-bond was drawn up." William Jefferson Winter's annotation on verso of second leaf: "Wadley was truly a great Shakespeare scholar: very eccentric - describe as he appeared at the Birth : Place. J.W."
