Contains a compilation of plays, poems, epigrams, sermons and discourses ranging in dates from 1567 to 1620, with each work written in a different hand. Plays include: Antitamicamicategoria / by Andrews Melville, 1604 (v.1, leaves 2-5); Boot and spur, ca. 1615 (v. 2, leaves 19-23); Risus Anglicanus, 1614-1618 (v. 3, leaves 24-43v); A Christmas Messe, 1619 (v. 9, leaves 105-115v); Heteroclitanomalonomia, 1613 (v. 10, leaves 119-133); Periander / by John Sansbury, 1608 (v. 11, leaves 134-157v); Christmas his showe, an abridgment of Ben Jonson's play, Christmas his Masque, 1615 (v. 13, leaves 168-174v); Gigantomachia, or, Work for Jupiter, ca. 1615 (v. 15, leaves 186-200). Poems include: Iter boreale / by Richard Eedes, ca. 1584 (v. 7, leaves 83-91v); Secundum iter boreale / by Richard Corbet, ca. 1620 (v. 8, leaves 93-99v); Convivium Philosophicum, about a festive gathering, 1611 (v. 15, leaf 183) and an untitled English version attributed to John Reynolds (v. 15, leaf 184).
