Robert Colodny (1915-1997) fought with the Abraham Lincoln Brigade in the Spanish Civil War. He returned to the U.S. in 1938 with a severe head injury. After his recovery Colodny served in the U.S. Army in Alaska during World War II. Claude C. (Chester) Hall was born in Bandon, Oregon, on June 20, 1896. He later went to school and worked in the mines in Murray, Idaho, and then moved to Spokane, Washington, where he married Gladys Katherine McIsaac on June 2, 1922.
