Stewart White papers, 1901-1941.

Consist of two bound manuscripts (holographs, with revisions) of The blazed trail (New York: McClure, Phillips, 1902), part II of which appeared in McClure's magazine for December 1901, and January and February 1902 under the title The forest runner; and The riverman (New York: McClure, 1908). Also present are two letters by White, one concerning the historical accuracy of the main episode in The riverman. One addressee not identified.
