This Sea Journal/Logbook covers a span between March 24, 1859 and December 12, 1860. The author of the journal provides entries for journeys to Batavia, Calcutta, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Canton as well as Liverpool and Marseilles. Weather conditions are recorded along with individuals met along the way, the arrival of letters from home, bills of lading for cargo carried, lists of clothing aboard the ship, etc. It is not clear as to who the author of the journal was; the name B.D. Tucker is written on the third page of the journal and the name C.W. Bradley, of New Haven, CT, is written on the last page of the journal.
