Diary kept on Smith's voyage to Melbourne on board the Isabella between July to Novemeber 1852, also correspondence to and from England, and miscellaneous documents relating to the gold fields in Victoria covering the period to 1857. A transcript of the diary and letters written by and to Edwin Smith have been included in the folder. Also includes examples of cross letters and envelopes.
