James T. Pratt correspondence, 1833, 1866-1867.

Three copies of outgoing letters and replies from the Secretaries of State of 22 states to James Pratt's query regarding the salary of the Adjutant General, Quartermaster General and Paymaster General. The 1833 document is a bill from Pratt to the Committee of Arrangements for the reception of the President of the United States. Pratt was a Connecticut state legislator and a United States Representative, when he was not farming in South Glastonbury, Connecticut.
