Hetty Burlingame Beatty papers, 1947-1970.

Collection comprises manuscripts, illustrations, artwork, and photographs for twelve of fourteen books by Hetty Burlingame Beatty (1907-1971), as well as correspondence concerning the Houghton Mifflin Publishing Company. Photographs include forty glass plate negatives of illustrations for Saint Francis and the wolf (1953). Collection does not include materials relating to Blitz (1961) or Trumper (1963).
