A manuscript fair copy of Thackeray's poem satirizing Goethe's book Die Leiden des jungen Werthers, together with a facsimile of that manuscript in miniature, an untitled original pen and ink drawing by Thackeray with a note to a Mrs. Gore written on the back, and a print of a portrait of Thackeray. Bound in full morocco, lettered in gilt.
