Collection of woodcuts and wood engravings, most of them excised from books. Arranged in 14 folders in a cloth case. Texts illustrated include an edition of Aesop's fables in French (late 18th century), a book of Greek and Roman legends in Latin (probably late 15th century),and Ammaestramenti per allevare, pascere, & curare gli vccelli by Cesare Manzini (Brescia: Per Pietro Maria Marchetti, 1607), whose entire first gathering (24 p.) is present. Also, illustrations from the life of Scanderbeg by Marinus Barletius, in Latin (undated). Also included is an illustration from an edition of Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe (19th century).
