Wilfrid Wilson Gibson letters and postal cards, 1912-1945.

The collection consists of ten letters and two postal cards, including: to Dear sir, 18 July 1912, thanking him for the sight of The Outlook, and giving permission to reprint a poem; two letters to Elkin Matthews [sic], 4 April 1916 and 30 Sept. 1916, with questions and comments about publishing or printing; also, two postal cards to Matthews, 8 Nov. 1915 and 24 Sept. 1916, with further discussion on printing or publishing concerns and news of his life; five letters to Mr. Gerald Sanders, 1935-1945, with general news of his life and arrangements to meet; two letters to Dear Meyerstein, 27 Jan. 1936 and 22 April 1937, with comments about Meyerstein's poetry. Five original envelopes included.

Edward Harry William Meyerstein was an English scholar, author, and man of letters. He was born in London and educated at Magdalen College, Cambridge.
