A manuscript fine copy of a response by an anonymous 18th century writer to Dr Richard Watson, Bishop of Llandaff's Apology for the Bible. This manuscript in support of Thomas Paine, consists of a page by page analysis and criticism of Watson's work. The final page of the text notes that "The Reader will observe tht the references in the preceeding work are to the duodecimo edition of Dr Watson [sic] Apology printed for Evans price 1/-."
