Marion Reed student notebook, 1927.

Consists of a single student notebook maintained by Marion Reed. The notebook resembles a clip book, containing lecture notes, diary-like entries on the weather and Reed's impressions of France, and illustrative postcards and clippings. Topics addressed include the history of art in France and prevalent decorative styles from the fourteenth through seventeenth centuries. Class handouts include lists of terms used by lecturers and symbols found in Gothic art.
