Gwen Dooley looks back on decades of community and governmental service to Boulder, beginning in the 1970s and continuing to this day: as a neighborhood activist, city council member, member of both the Open Space and Parks and Recs boards, and PLAN-Boulder County member and chairperson. She discusses some of the important and colorful issues that Boulder has dealt with during that time, ranging from the serious - development and environmental issues - to the offbeat - how the city dealt with nude bathing at Coot Lake. She also talks about good government practices, political campaigning, and offers recollections of Boulder during the late 1950s and 1960s.
