David Grimm was, in many ways, the voice of Boulder in the 1970s and 1980s: first through his radio work on KBOL and KGNU, and later through his decade-long position as Communications Director for the City of Boulder. In this entertaining and enlightening interview David Grimm brings the Boulder of those decades alive through the recounting of many irreverent and telling anecdotes of those lively years, including stories about politics in Boulder, environmentalism in Boulder, the Boulder-Dushanbe Teahouse, the construction of the Pearl Street Mall, the Halloween Mall Crawl, and various famous people who visited Boulder over the years.
