Anne M. Burke, Justice, Illinois Appellate Court, First District, is an alumna of DePaul and has served on DePaul University's Board of Trustees since 1999. Her interest in and concern for the rights of children in society began in 1965, when she was one of the first to teach physical education for mentally challenged children through the Chicago Park District.
