Holograph lists written on two envelopes. One list, on the front of a International Hotel (Jamaica, New York) envelope reads, in part: "Madrid -- call Carmen ... get Mary's bag from Viutton [sic] (call) .. Jewelers .. get money from Bank ... call Marcel Duhamel about 5th Col. Play... Boat leaves Tuesday 2 pm LeHavre ... Cable Rice to deposit 2500 in special tax account ..." The other list, on the front of an envelope from Lee Samuels, includes the names, addresses, and phone numbers of a number of Hemingway's friends.
