Egbert from Neah Bay, Washington, on stationery from the AMORC Rosicrucian Order, San Jose, California, 3 pp, April 5, 1930, reminiscing about Egbert's time as Superintendent of the Siletz Indian Reservation and the political machinations of Horace G. Wilson, U.S. Indian Inspector, that led to Egbert's dismissal. This experience is compared to the dismissal of Dr. Carl B. Boyd, Superintendent of the Makah Indian Reservation, in October 1929, due to the testimony of U.S. Indian Inspector Captain C. W. Trowbridge, who DePoe suspects of corruption.
