Manuscript hymn book, ca. 1875-1895.

Hymn book in an unknown hand containing scores for hymns, including works by Lowell Mason and arrangements by Vincent Novello and others, many unattributed. Included are the treble, alto, tenor, and bass parts, but no lyrics. The volume contains original music; chants; and arrangements from traditional songs and classical pieces by Handel, Haydn, and Mozart. The table of contents lists the works by meter.
